More Surprising Baseball Statistical data.

I used to deal in baseball cards, and some memorabilia in the middle-to-late 1980's.

The document was a contract of some player that was signed by Harry Wright, the boss, circa 1870. It was written on Cincinnati Red Stocking's letterhead. I felt like I was let into a special group. I sold the piece in the range of $10,000 - $12,000 if memory serves me. But selling the piece didn't compare to the dreams I had about the contract. Imagine, what it could have been like 130 years back on the ball field. The pitchers, hurling both games of a double header was frequent practice and a home run was infrequent.

The Memory Collector.

Everybody collects something right? It could be baseball cards, hats, or some other sort of sports souvenirs. What about the collection of tools in the basement you do not truly use, but you've got to have them.

Each one of them has a tale to learn, the memories flood my mind each time I pick one up. None of my shot glasses actually have any financial value but I might never part with them, as a collection, they're explanation of my existence if kept together. " of course, the person ( or girl ) has their work cut out for them to finish that collection. Now I own virtually four hundred of the mini drinking vessels. The "Memory " Collector Everyone collects something right? It could be baseball cards, hats, or some other sort of sports souvenirs. I presently have a collection of over three hundred shot glasses, and yes, I've had at least one shot of some particular sort of a mixture from every one of them. None of my shot glasses truly have any monetary value but I'd never part with them, as a collection, they're evidence of my existence if kept together. " obviously, the person ( or girl ) has their work cut out for them to finish that collection. " This collector just loves picking up them, no logic why, she just enjoys the process of doing so. I haven't got enough floor space for when they pass out. For the moment, I'm content to hanging these puppies on the wall. So regardless of what it is you collect just remember, next time you go somewhere, bring a memory home with you.
